Senior Creative Support
for Agencies

Im Rob Hall an Art Director, Senior Visual Designer, and Web Designer who partners with advertising, marketing, PR, digital, and web development agencies when they need additional senior-level creative capacity. Overflow, contract, project-based, or white-label: I plug in, do the work, and make your team look good.

The partnership

Agencies don’t need another vendor. They need a senior creative who can step in mid-stream, understand the brief, respect the client relationship, and deliver work that looks like it came from inside the team because for the length of the engagement, it did.

With more than twenty years across print, web, and digital, Ive sat on both sides of the table leading creative in-house and delivering for agencies as an outside partner. I know what a clean handoff looks like, and what a messy one costs.

I work inside your process, your tools, and when needed your name. No ego about credit. Just dependable, senior-level design capacity for the weeks your team is at the edge of what it can take on.

Where I can plug in

Six places agencies most often bring me in. Each can be a one-off project, a block of hours, or an ongoing arrangement.

01

Art Direction

Art Direction

Campaign concepts, visual systems, and creative leadership for pitches and live accounts. I can direct a shoot, guide a junior designer, or take a brief from your strategist and run with it.

02

Brand & Identity

Brand & Identity

Logo systems, guidelines, and brand refreshes handled with the discipline agency clients expect — and documented so your team can extend the system after I’ve moved on.

03

Print & Collateral

Print & Collateral

Trade show environments, packaging, brochures, direct mail, and sales materials. Production-ready, press-checked, and delivered against the print date — not after it.

04

Web & Digital Design

Web & Digital Design

Marketing sites, landing pages, and campaign microsites — designed in Figma or built directly in Framer, with responsive systems your developers will actually thank you for.

05

Pitch & Presentation Design

Pitch & Presentation Design

Decks that help you win the room. New business pitches, client presentations, and capability documents — designed under pressure and under NDA.

06

Overflow & Production

Overflow & Production

Extra senior hands when the calendar fills up: adapting campaigns across formats, resizing, retouching, and finishing — with the same level of care as the original concept.

Why agencies work with me

Most of my agency relationships started with one urgent project and turned into years of repeat work. This is usually why.

Senior from day one

No ramp-up and no hand-holding. Twenty-plus years of leading creative means I can take a brief and run without supervision.

Fluent in agency process

Creative reviews, traffic schedules, timesheets, and three rounds of client feedback — I’ve lived inside them at Indievision, The King Agency, and Capital One, and I respect them.

Comfortable behind the scenes

Your client, your credit. When the work needs to look like it came from your team, I’m glad to be invisible.

Reliable under deadline

Pitch dates don’t move and press dates don’t move. I plan for that, and I show up with finished work rather than reasons.

One person, several disciplines

Art direction, brand, print, and web in one pair of hands means fewer handoffs, fewer meetings, and a tighter idea from concept to production.

Easy to have around

Clear communication, honest estimates, and no drama. Agencies keep calling back because working together is simple.

White-label support

Your name on the work. My hands on the tools.

Many agencies would rather not tell a client theyre bringing in outside help and they shouldnt have to. White-label engagements are a normal part of how I work: I design under your brand, in your templates, and at your standards, and the client never has to think about where the capacity came from.

01

Work is done under NDA. Nothing appears in my portfolio without your written permission.

02

Files are delivered in your templates, your naming conventions, and your brand standards.

03

I can join client calls as a member of your team, or stay entirely behind the scenes — your call.

04

Communication runs through your account or project lead. One point of contact, no confusion.

How it works

Simple on purpose. Most engagements go from first email to work in progress within a week.

Step 01

Brief

Send the brief, the deadline, and the deliverables. A twenty-minute call is usually enough to scope it properly.

Step 02

Scope & estimate

You get a clear estimate — hourly, day rate, or fixed project fee — and a realistic timeline. No surprises on the invoice.

Step 03

Work

I plug into your process and tools, share progress early, and keep your project lead in the loop — without needing to be managed.

Step 04

Deliver

Organized, production-ready files handed over in your standards. I stay available for revisions and follow-on work.

Ways to engage

Overflow

Hourly or day rate when the calendar spikes.

Contract

A set number of days per week or month.

Project-based

Fixed scope, fixed fee, defined deliverables.

White-label

Any of the above, under your agency’s name.

Let’s talk.

Have a brief?
Let’s talk.

If your team is stretched, a pitch is looming, or a client needs more than you can staff this month, send a note. I reply within one business day, and a short call is usually all it takes to scope the work.
